THE 50 HEALING VERSES THAT SUSTAINED ME

When I was hospitalized with a minor stroke ( I say minor because I was admitted quickly in a window of time that minimized the damage, which I am eternally grateful for) I searched for the best healing verses with the most inspirational background music I could find. Here is the video version of what I thought was the best followed by the verses I typed out for your edification and comfort. It’s in the NIV, which is not one of my favorite versions, so for those who feel the same, I’ve added the New King James verses in bold print below each NIV verse. These verses will build your faith for healing and divine health and soundness and starve your doubts to death if you’ll listen to them and meditate on them and confess them. Some of them are repeated twice for emphasis by the creators of the video. I hope they are a blessing to you. Feel free to print them out and pass them on. You don’t need all 50 to get healed. All you need is one that is alive in you to be healed, but they will all help you familiarize yourself with the many healing verses in the Bible and build a solid faith life.

AMAZING TESTIMONY OF KENNETH E. HAGIN’S DILIGENCE IN THE WORD

My spiritual father in the faith, Kenneth E. Hagin, once faced a health crisis with his little daughter Pat. She had a growth in one of her eyes. He had scriptures on healing marked out in his Bible and spent time meditating on them during the nighttime where he would sleep an hour and then stay up for an hour meditating on the scriptures pertaining to her daughter’s healing. He did that all night, one hour sleeping, and the next hour awake, and meditating on the scriptures. He did that for two nights in the midst of conducting some meetings himself. This really impressed upon me the importance of being diligent to put the word of God in your heart. After filling his heart with faith by meditating on the healing scriptures, he called home and told Pat that she was healed. That day the growth she had on her eye disappeared. Glory to God! The Word works, but you have to work the Word.

The reason many are weak in faith today is because they don’t feed their faith this way with the same diligence and attentiveness.  If it worked for Bro. Hagin it can work for anybody. We just need to apply the Word with the same diligence he did. I know the following scriptures are many, but you don’t have to use all of them. Listen to the video and see which ones the Holy Spirit quickens to you. That is what I did while I was in the hospital for 16 days, and it is what sustained me and gave me hope.  When I had the stroke I was disappointed and tempted to be sorrowful and depressed, but listening to the scriptures via video each day and night got me through that difficult time. It put hope and then faith in me. You can do the same. I put this lengthy blog together because I want to help the sick and diseased to get healed. I want to give you hope and faith is the substance of things hoped for (Heb. 11:1).

You might say, well,” I’m not sick”, but if you’ll wait until the day when sickness and disease attacks your body, you’ll be on the defensive, but if you’ll continually fill your heart with healing and health scriptures now, you’ll have reserves to call on when the evil day comes. Or you’ll just walk in divine health where you won’t ever have sickness and disease. I hope you”ll do the latter and build your faith constantly throughout your life because sickness and disease is one of the main areas where Satan will attack people, and Christians are not exempt.

We have the promise of health and healing. #God'sPromises | Gods ...

JESUS IS COMING FOR A MIGHTY BLOOD BOUGHT CHURCH, NOT A WEAK, FEARFUL ONE

This is  A Prophecy by the late Kenneth E. Hagin on October 01, 1974 Longmont, Texas: Amidst the present plague/virus and fear in the world and even in among some Christians the Church needs to be reminded of this.

“No, the time of the end is not yet. No, America is not doomed,” I heard Him say. “No, judgment will not fall as yet.

Some have seen some things in the spirit and didn’t know how to interpret it. They interpreted it as happening now. I didn’t say it was going to happen now. In the spirit you see things in the distance —and even in another age.

When the Church age is over, judgment will fall. But judgment will not fall upon the Church. For the only judgment that the church will face is the judgment seat of Christ. They’ll not face the judgment of tribulation (my comments: Pre-trib and post-trip arguments avail; I’m a proponent of both of them with a split church at the pre-trib rapture where some go and some stay; for more clarification on this go here and scroll back, then go forward  to read the 12-part series I did in 2013. I received this understanding from my personal studies on a number of eschatology books of the late Rev. Gordon Lindsay, who was a good friend of Bro. Hagin. My understanding of eschatology may change as I continue to grow, but right now, that is what I believe is closest to the fulness of truth concerning the rapture of the Church). They’ll not face the judgment of the enemy or the judgment of God, for they’re protected by God.

“And there is more to happen yet. There’s missionary work to be done. And even the renewal that you call the ‘Charismatic Renewal,’ and the move of the Spirit in these last days —you have only seen a little. “And there shall be those that stand before the leaders of this nation and work miracles. And it shall be even so as it was with Phillip, after that he had baptized the eunuch that he was caught away and found in another city. And so one shall be in this city and television cameras shall be trained upon him. The reporters will say,” He’s here in Dallas, Texas. ’And as fast as you can snap your finger, a television camera in Los Angeles…and there he is. Some will say, ‘How did he do that?’ It shall be the Spirit of God that shall catch him away (my personal comments: I’ve always had that same conviction. How glorious! We need to think bigger than the present dark situation in our nation.)

And these signs and wonders shall become more prevalent. Signs and wonders have come here and come there. But they shall become more prevalent and more prevalent in these last days. “And let not your heart be fearful, nor let it be afraid.
For there shall, and on the scene he has already arisen (I believe he’s speaking of President Trump who was about 28 years old at this time. I can’t prove that, so I’ll just submit it to you for consideration. Keep reading.), one who shall respond unto the things of God and whose heart will be open toward God.

And your nation, that seemed to be cut down to the roots, and the wild birds of the air and the fowls of the air came and roosted in her branches and did much disrepute unto the nation. Yet that shall all be repaired because this man shall say,
‘I will walk in the way of God. I will trust also in Him.’ And he shall be at the head, and many shall follow him. And the work of God shall be consummated that must be consummated in other nations before I come,” (Oh, glory to God! Hallelujah!)

“I heard Him say, “‘Because, you see, The enemy shall not gainsay the work of the Lord.’ And like a trumpet sounding across the valley, I heard His voice so strong and clear, and He said,

‘I AM NOT COMING FOR A CHURCH, THE BODY OF CHRIST, THAT’S WEAK, EMACIATED, SICKLY, AND UNDERGROUND meaning hiding in fear (my comments: he is not speaking of the mighty underground church, because of persecution as in nations like Iran, but he’s speaking of the mighty holy remnant of God who will rise up in this hour). I’M COMING FOR THE SPIRITUAL GIANT THAT’S ALIVE AND LIVING, AND WORKING THE WORKS OF GOD!’

“So be not fearful, nor cast thy glance around about, and become askant. But look ye up unto Him, for He is the Head of the Church. And through the Church, the Head will manifest himself. And men are the hands of the Lord, and the hands are in the Body. And He shall stretch forth His hands to heal the sick, that signs and wonders shall be wrought in the name of the Holy Child Jesus. (GLORY! GLORY!! GLORY!!!)

Thissong will fire you up! Blood Bought Church (song)

“And two things shall shortly be made manifest unto the real people of God: “One is further light and teaching and revelation
in the area and realm of healing —physical healing, divine healing —that will be the key that will unlock the chain that has bound so many and they’ll never more be the same.(comments: There was much teaching in the 70’s and 80’s on this that many of us need to revisit. I was a part of an apostolic team that received a mandate from God to carry the “word of faith into West Africa in the mid-80s into the mid 90s. And I will be writing and ministering more on this in the near future). We need this “word of faith” (Rom. 10:8) especially in this time where great fear is abounding all over the world.

“And then there shall come revelation…further light according to the Word concerning the miraculous, and the part that faith doth play. For faith is like the fuse that ignites the dynamite.”

“And when the explosion goes off, all can hear and see. But there was a fuse that had to be lit, and FAITH is the fuse. (Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!)

And thou shalt be able to stand and to take a blackboard, like a teacher teaching mathematics and write out the equation and come up with the right answer. And any man or woman, boy or girl, standing or seated in that congregation will be able to take that equation, translate it into the spiritual realm, and their faith will ignite the power of God. And they’ll have an explosion in their home and in their community and in their church.

And it will be popping here and popping there;
and it will be popping here and popping there;
and it will be popping here and popping there…
So get ready for it.

“And the curtain was closed. And into the realm of eternity I could no longer see.
And into the realm of eternity I could no longer hear. But I looked again into the realm of time, where you sit and live, and say with words from heaven above, These things shall shortly be, and shall shortly come.”

PROPHECY: FAITH TO OVERCOME

The following Spirit-inspired utterance was recorded and transcribed in our private prayer time before our public ministry time in Pensacola, Florida at Freedom church. It gave us direction to minister along these lines in the two morning services, which are now available on our Holy Fire Ministries YouTube channel

When My people trust Me it brings Me glory, more glory than the myriads of angels that worship Me now in this place. When My people on the earth who dwell among darkness and so much gross darkness… when they trust Me in spite of what they don’t yet see, in spite of what they don’t yet know…when they trust Me under the canopy of darkness that the earth is under, oh, it brings the Father great glory, more so than any of the angels and saints that are now here in this place, for they worship Me in the full light…they worship Me in the full manifestation of My glory here in heaven. Oh, but down there when My people worship Me in a sin-filled, curse-filled world, oh what glory it brings the Father, what attention it brings to the angels as they peer from heaven and take note of this mighty army of overcomers that I have on earth that bring Me such praise and glory.

So continue to trust Me and teach My people to trust Me, even in their trials and in their tests and in their hardship.  Let them know that they bring Me great glory when they trust Me in spite of what they don’t see and what they don’t feel yet. Yes, encourage them to have the Abraham kind of faith where he staggered not at the promise of God, oh, but he was fully persuaded that what I said would come to pass. Yes, impart this truth and this spirit to My people, for as the times increasingly get darker, so must their faith increase, so must their trust in Me increase, so must they see Me even as you’ve talked about among yourselves.

They must see Me in the difficulties, they must see Me in the hardship and in the tests and trials. They must turn their face and turn their eyes away from all the difficult circumstances and difficult environment they find themselves in and they must turn and face the wall, turn and and face Me, turn and see Me, turn to Christ, and the veils shall be removed. And they shall see Me in greater accuracy and in greater awareness and in greater glory. And they shall walk  in great peace.

Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord.

CORONA VIRUS: PROOF CHURCH IS NOT YET READY FOR TUMULTUOUS 2020s

The media has effectively shut the world economy down in one week. Think about it.

Just like that the government controls all sporting events, concerts, jobs, colleges, medical facilities, whether or not you can leave your house, they’ve depleted resources such as toilet paper and food, and control all travel. And many wonder why they develop and use viruses to scare the public.

They now control you and everything about your life. See how easy it was? Mass panic, fear, hysteria, and complete control of literally the entire world. Over a virus! One that the survival rates are even extremely high. All freedom has been limited overnight.

See how easy that was?

And much of the Church is flowing with the spirit of fear, forsaking the assembling of themselves together, missing the opportunity to serve in practical ways to let their light shine before men.

We are not ready for the tumultuous 2020s.

WAKE UP SHEEPLE

“Sheeple” is the insult the blogging masses use to call someone. It means a “dummy following a person or ideology without knowing why they’re following said person or ideology.” According to Merriam-Webster, here’s the actual definition: People who are docile, compliant, or easily influenced; people likened to sheep.

I wrote the following in my newest book: In many ways the decade of the 2020s will be the most tumultuous decade in American history. Take a look at this definition of tumultuous: making a loud, confused noise; uproarious.

Now think of the recent 2016 elections, the multiplied efforts to discredit everything our president does, the Russian collusion, the subsequent attempts to impeach him, but now a virus that has the entire world bound by fear.

In a presidential term where everyone from all sides of the political spectrum have been shouting at each other, we now have everyone huddling together over a virus that has killed 41 people in America.

Welcome to the tumultuous 2020s.

Tumultuous: Loud, deafening, thunderous, thundering, ear-shattering, ear-splitting, ear-piercing, uproarious, noisy, clamorous, vociferous, excited, confused, or disorderly.

Here are some more synonyms to describe tumultuous: tempestuous, stormy, turbulent, in turmoil, passionate, intense, explosive, violent, volatile, and full of upheavals. Are you getting the picture?

Of course, this virus phobia won’t last. But something else will come soon that will change America for good. It will never be the nation it once was. We are sitting ducks. But God! But the Church! We must forget this world and labor not for the meat that perishes.

“Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life…” (John 6:27).

Your faith is “much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ…” (1 Pt. 1:7).

ANTICHRIST SYSTEM RULING THE WORLD

FEAR is a big black monster that the media partners with to shape the minds of the masses. And sadly, much of the Church is following suit. The antichrist spirit uses fear to control everything about your life. This Corona virus is proof. It’s a light affliction compared to what’s coming to America.

Much of the Church is like the disciples who were rebuked by Jesus after His resurrection. “He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen” (Mk. 16:14). After rebuking them Jesus commissioned them. “Go preach and make disciples” He said. This is what we are to always be doing. But let’s face it; we are full of unbelief and hardness of heart. We’re ruled by mammon. We live in a bubble. We love our lives, and we fear death. We are not yet prepared and positioned for the tumult of this decade, which will bring far more than a mild virus that mainly affects the elderly.

Some Christians are familiar with the testimony of John G. Lake, and “the law of the Spirit and life” that operated in his life and ministry during the bubonic plague. Here it is:

“Because we were in contact with the Spirit of life, I and a little Dutch fellow with me went out and buried many of the people who had died from the bubonic plague.  We went into homes and carried them out, dug the graves and put them in.  Sometimes we would put three or four in one grave.

“We never took the disease.  Why?  Because of the knowledge of the law of life in Christ Jesus protects us.  That law was working.”

Church, we need to come up to this level of faith and understanding during the days and years just ahead of us.

Meditate on these scriptures beloved, and build your faith and starve your fears and doubts to death.

“Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find FAITH on the earth.” (Luke 18:8)

“If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God… I will put NONE of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” (Ex. 15:26)

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our FAITH.” (1 John 5:4)

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND.” (2 Tim. 1:7)

Unless the Bible becomes our complete and absolute standard of truth the tide of fear will continue to rise in the Church and in our society.

Never has there been a more urgent need for true spiritual physicians, brave preachers of righteousness, and shepherds who are not moved by fear or popular opinion, but who genuinely care for the sheep.

EARTHLY CASUALNESS LEADS TO ETERNAL CASUALTIES: THE KOBE BRYANT STORY AND WHAT WE ALL NEED TO LEARN

I am greatly saddened by the tragic death of Kobe Bryant and his young daughter, but I am just as saddened and grieved by the irresponsible and nonchalant response from the world and even from the church to such misfortune. Untimely deaths of young celebrities like Kobe Bryant are supposed to cause a deep pause and sincere reflection of our sinful lifestyles and earnestly consider the eternal consequences of going off into eternity without Christ.

Instead people are talking incessantly about what a great basketball legend he was and his immortality on the court. I understand recognizing Kobe’s talent and honoring what he contributed to the game of basketball, but it’s extremely callous not to consider our lives in the light of eternity and speak of that, too.

One tweet said this: “Heroes come and go, but legends are forever. Rest in peace.”

Really? Listen, basketball is just a game. Heroes and legends and every other famous person that’s ever lived come and go. Kings and mighty rulers of the earth come and go. The rich and the poor alike come and go. Life is very brief on this planet. Let’s not forget that there were 7 other people that lost their lives in that helicopter crash, not just Kobe and his young daughter. He is getting all the attention and honor because of his celebrity status, but in eternity there is no such regard for greatness in this life as men count greatness.

What do earthly honors matter in the end? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?

Yes, I know Kobe’s influence stretched far beyond sports, touching art, culture, business, and his family. But what does that all matter in the end if he knew not Christ?

In light of Kobe Bryant’s untimely death and all those who went down with him, it’s time to consider again the brevity of this earthly life and the eternal consequences of living a life without Christ.

“Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” (James 4:14).

C.T. Studd said it this way:

“Only one life ’twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last.”

Leonard Ravenhill also had the right perspective:

“Are the things you are living for worth Christ dying for?”

NO EARTHLY DISTINCTIONS IN THE ETERNAL REALM

God and Satan are not partial to anyone. There are no distinctions in the eternal realm. Kobe is not a superstar in eternity. They are not celebrating his life and greatness in the game of basketball. The only thing heaven celebrates is the life you lived for Christ. The honor you gave to Christ. The steps and pursuits you made for Christ. The people you led to Christ. Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents.

“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10).

I honestly hope Kobe came to repentance before this fatal crash. I hope he was a real Christian and God found some honor in his heart for Christ; or perhaps he called on the Name of the Lord moments before that helicopter exploded in fire. If not, he is experiencing another kind of fire that is eternal where ‘Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched’ (Mark 9:44).

The God of all flesh has no regard for world celebrities, famous leaders, or mighty kings on this earth. Note the word of the Lord to the king of Babylon:

“In the place of the dead there is excitement over your arrival. The spirits of world leaders and mighty kings long dead stand up to see you” (Isaiah 14:9).

The surest thing in the world is not death and taxes, it’s death and eternity. Yet, we remain so unconcerned. We are not eternity conscious enough.

Not only are there no earthly distinctions made in heaven concerning our status, position, or achievements in this life, but even in the church world God makes no distinctions. There are no church or denominational distinctions in heaven. There is not one section in heaven for Presbyterian Christians, another section for Anglican Christians, and yet another for Baptist Christians. Unless a person has sincerely repented of his sins and placed his total trust in Christ for his salvation, proving it by his works, all of life was lived in vain.

JOHN WESLEY’S DREAM THAT REVOLUTIONIZED HIS LIFE

John Wesley had a dream which affected his life’s work tremendously. He dreamed that he died and came to the gate of heaven. He was anxious to know who had been admitted, so he questioned the keeper:
“Are there any Presbyterians here?”
“None”, replied the keeper of the gate.
Wesley was surprised. “Have you any Anglicans?” he asked.
“No one!” was the reply
“Surely, there must be many Baptists in heaven?”
“No, none”, replied the keeper.
Wesley grew pale. He was afraid to ask his next question:
“How many Methodists are there in heaven?”
“Not one,” answered the keeper quickly.
Wesley’s heart was filled with wonder. The angel at the gate then told Wesley that there were no earthly distinctions in heaven. “All of us here in heaven are one in Christ. We are just an assembly who love the Lord”.
Wesley was then taken downward, downward to the entrance of Hell. He met the keeper of the gate there.
“Have you any Presbyterians here?” asked Wesley.
“Oh, yes, many,” answered the keeper.
Wesley stood still, “Have you any Anglicans?” he asked.
“Yes, yes, many”, answered the keeper.
“Are there Baptists in there”? Wesley continued to ask.
“Of course, many,” replied the keeper.
”Wesley was afraid to ask the next question. “Are there any Methodists in hell?”
The keeper of the gate grinned. “Oh Yes, there are many Methodists here.”
Wesley could hardly speak. “Tell me, have you any here who love the Lord?”
“No, no, not one, not one” he answered. “No one in hell loves the Lord”
CONCLUSION OF ALL MATTERS IS TO LOVE AND FEAR GOD
Do you love the love the Lord? If so, you will have the highest regard and reverence for His holy Word and you will obey what is written therein.
But our obedience to God is not only a manifestation of our love for Him but also our fear of Him. And frankly, that is what is missing in American culture right now and even within church walls.

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matt. 10:28).

It’s time for America, the church world, and all the nations of the earth to fear God, so they can be spared eternal damnation and live a life worthy of the reward of Christ’s sacrifice. It’s time for all of of us to realize that there are only two distinctions in the eternal world, the saved and the damned. Those who have received the life of Christ and those who have not.

“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12).

I pray for all those close to Kobe, and most especially for his grieving family during this devastating time in their lives. May they find Christ and receive the hope, strength, and comfort they so desperately need.
