Almost every day I read at least one, sometimes several accounts, of the rotten fruit of gay activism and the injustices wrought upon the righteous who oppose their deeds. Here are a few from just this year. Check your righteous temperature as you read these and tell me if it reaches the boiling point.

A Catholic Republican Governor who is a presidential candidate declares emphatically that he believes homosexuality is not a sin and that people are simply born that way. His unbiblical stance on this issue has becoming the norm in the American culture.

Other influential figures, whether they work in politics, the media, or education and now even so –called ministers affirm and celebrate individuals of all ages who have shown great courage “in coming out” as gay, lesbian, transgender or bisexual.

Little children are now featured in YouTube videos, in DVDs and in books that are used in schools across America to educate and convince kindergarten age children and up that it’s okay to be gay.

Recently in a major conference in Boston LGBT leaders and activists convened to discuss strategies for aggressively blanketing elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools across the nation. Workshops and seminar sessions were held to lay out plans for continuing to establish gay clubs in every school, promote “Days of Silence” to stifle negative comments, and more effectively disseminate information to educate as well as inspire youth on the LGBT lifestyle.

Children are being saturated from every angle and source with the philosophy that it’s okay to be gay. States are even now enacting laws to prevent counselors from helping children who are struggling with same-sex attraction to change.

To compound the situation, we have popular influential ministers who either approve of homosexuality or remain silent. At the same time, apostate ministers are using their platforms to actually promote the LGBT agenda.

Houston’s lesbian mayor just passed a law making all public bathrooms, showers and dressing rooms totally accessible to either sex, any molester, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender person, declaring that this legislation is the most personally meaningful thing she will ever do as mayor.

Then we have the recent removal of the Benham brothers from the HGTV television show for expressing their beliefs in traditional marriage, followed by the Miami Dolphins general manager expressing disappointment in one his player’s displeasure over two men kissing during the NFL draft’s celebration of the first open gay football player.

Past cases such as the florist who reportedly refused to provide flowers for a gay wedding because of her religious beliefs being sued by the Washington State Attorney General.

The Christian baker in Colorado who exercised his first amendment religious rights and politely declined to bake a “wedding” cake for a homosexual civil union and was ordered by law to deny his faith and bake these fake cakes, or shut down his bakery and face prison.

Mozilla, the corporation best known for producing the Fire fox web browser, firing its newly appointed CEO after his donation to Prop. 8, a California ballot initiative that barred same-sex marriage in the Golden State was publicized.

If you are a professing Christian and these events do not cause your righteous blood to boil, then I have to doubt the legitimacy of your Christianity. If your righteous temper does not flare up at what is happening in our nation your brand of righteousness is not worth a nickel.

Personally, when I read such reports I feel like Elihu when he was filled with righteous wrath at Job’s three friends for condemning him without reason. He was also angry with Job for his self-justification. Here is how he described his righteous indignation:

“For I am full of words; the spirit within me compels me. Indeed my belly is like wine that has no vent; It is ready to burst like new wineskins. I will speak, that I may find relief; I must open my lips and answer.” (Job 32:18-20)

I say, enough is enough! I say it’s time to revolt against such a heinous demonic onslaught of perversion and filth that is eroding the moral fabric of our American culture and the Judeo-Christian heritage of what our forefathers founded. When I read some of these aforementioned reports of the rapid rise of gay activism and the gross injustices being dealt in our nation’s courtrooms across this land, I seethe as David did before Goliath when he said:

“For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God!?” (1 Sam 17:26)

Here’s what I propose:

1. Unite as one Church under the banner of the Lordship of Jesus Christ: Those who care about the future of America, the perpetuity of our children and the generations to come, the preservation of traditional marriage, the preservation of our Judeo-Christian heritage and God-given liberties, and the protection of our privacies, must unite cross-denominationally with one heart and one voice. Regardless of our petty differences in doctrine, race, and style we must consider the greater good of lifting up a righteous standard and saving our nation from destruction.

2. Speak the truth in love with fire, force, and conviction. It starts in the pulpits of America. Six million Christians voted money over morals in recent political elections because ministers have failed to educate their people in biblical morality. Instead, new age slime has been oozing from pastors’ mouths while already four different denominations have embraced “gay” Christianity. If church-goers across America hear burning hearts with flaming tongues thundering forth righteousness and holiness from our pulpits again we would have a ground swell of righteous support that would shake America. Who cares if you lose church members? You will gain the favor of God.

3. Lead your churches in repentance and prayer. There has been a movement in this area but it could rise to gigantic proportions if we will unite cross-denominationally. Numbers will alarm our progressive politicians and let them know we are a force to be reckoned with.

May our righteous blood reach the boiling point where we,  like Jeremiah, will not hold back any longer.

“But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.” (Jer 20:9)

The nation of Denmark has recently passed a law requiring all churches to perform gay weddings. Pastors who refuse will be penalized and punished and church rights taken away.

Could America be next?

The writing is on the wall. If we don’t stand now and speak we may never speak again. May we be among the courageous ones who say, “In order to stop me, you’ve got to kill me.” As Geroge Orwell once said, “In such times of deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act” that can get you killed.

I say, on with the revolution. Let us serve the Lord, by life or by death (Phil. 1:20), and thereby save our Judeo-Christian heritage and our nation from destruction.

  1. I agree with what you said, but disagree with the order of the three things you wrote that can be done. If we don’t do #1 first….we can’t get to #2 much less #3. It goes back to 2 Chronicles 7;14…If my people would humble themselves and pray…seek my face and turn from their wicked ways…..there is so much in the body of Christ that bears accountability for the disdain that has arisen among many who are pro the homosexual movement but who are still heterosexual. How can the church say anything when it doesn’t “judge itself”, doesn’t have it’s own house clean from sexual sin. When I read the percentage of pastors for instance who are into pornography…..not just “liberal” pastors either, and drug addiction…prescription drugs of course…grin!….and then other sex sin….adultery, fornication….how can we speak out on homosexuality until we have repented of our own dirty households? Otherwise, we will just be the clanging cymbals that so many of us as Christians have been.

I agree it is not time to be passive, never has been…time to fall on our faces for perhaps this is the judgement that is coming to the house of the Lord because we haven’t dealt with our own sex sins along with other sins. Today I was talking with the wife of a man who is almost an expert on end time events AND the things going on in our government particularly things that are in violation of the laws that are being done by the present executive. What I found out, however, is that he is violating the no-contact order that a judge has ordered due to a domestic violence charge involving him throwing a cup of hot coffee on his wife, culminating years of spousal abuse towards her. How easily it is for us to talk about how “they” violate the law, how they twist scripture, but when it comes to “cleaning up the house of the Lord”… isn’t so easy and in my experience I find pastors tend to want to blame the “devil” for this stuff instead of praising God that Holy Spirit is finally bringing this buried stuff to the surface where in His power things can be healed and people set free……….Christians…active church attenders who are very knowledgable of their bibles..but who need cleansing and healing….

Doesn’t change the need to speak truth…but we need to speak it at home first then we will have the power to come together “in unity” to bear forth a power ful witness to the world in the name of Jesus!

    • That’s a wonderful and articulated counsel. While the principal writer wrote out of a burdened heart for the evil sweeping down the props of righteousness in the land, you are from the perspective of ensuring the church is cleansed from the inside so it can withstand this wave of onslaught by the gates of hell. Rightly did Christ say that the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church but sure that promise cannot be for the compromising church. We must then join hands together to ensure that as righteousness starts from within, then shall we all rise up for God against the tide of evil. This is a voice from Africa, and I am keenly interested because our most supposed ministers of the gospel from Africa are quick to copy America as the standard. Come Lord Jesus and take your waiting people Home.

      • Thanks for your pertinent comment. It is sad that American ministers teach the American way rather than disciple you as one being taught of Holy Spirit and learning His ways. There is much garbage in our churches…. Buried but not in the waters of baptism into Jesus death.. So there isn’t much of Christ’s holiness manifest. We as a part of the body have yet to really know what it means to suffer with Christ.. Or to be partakers of His patience…while we are seeing a new outpouring of His Spirit I hope it is also bringing up the dross so the gold if Himself can be seen to his praise and glory.

    • how is the “body of Christ” going to stand up against the onslaught of sexual immorality in the form of LGBT issues, when it doesn’t deal provide healing and health to its own members struggling with other forms of sexual sin? The current figure is 65% of Christians watch porn. Yet we dare as a group called Christians to stand up when those “outside” the body of Christ are involved in sexual sin? Lets clean up our own side of the street, our own household. If we don’t…our house will fall and they will reign and that is what is all too often happening across America. How can we judge angels if we dont’ deal with the behaviors in our own household with the grace and mercy that is ours in Christ Jesus? It’s as Holy Spirit begins to move upon hearts that are crying out for Him, that issues WILL COME up that we’ve buried, which have been hidden and covered so that Holy Spirit can bring the healing and restoration of Jesus. It is no wonder we can’t share this with “the world” because it isn’t well known in the body of us who are called Christians. The divorce rate among bible believers is almost as high as the nonChristian world…and I am one of the fatalities.

      • Valid points again, Meri. But remember the 35%. There is a righteous remnant. God did tell Abraham that he would spare Sodom and Gomorrah if He found 10 righteous among them. Judgement does indeed begin in the house of God, making it all the more imperative that we judge ourselves so we won’t be judged and condemned with the world.

  2. My heart is warmed to know that the Lord has yet a remnant few like your voices, please keep the flame burning.
